Ahead of the opening of the 2023 season,안전놀이터 Suwon Samsung teamed up with a ‘sports professional artist’ Kwang-gwang to produce a music video for a club song.
The theme of this music video is the historical scenes and legends of Suwon. It was produced based on 12 illustrations drawn by Kwang. It was completed through design and video work for 3 months from last year.
Gwang’s illustrations include the first K-League championship led by Suwon’s first coach Kim Ho, coach Cha Beom-geun and Kwak Hee-joo, who lifted the trophy in Snowy Big Bird, and 12 legends who shared Suwon’s history. In particular, the end of the music video was finished with a ceremony conducted by Yeom Ki-hoon, a ‘living legend’ of Suwon. In the 2023 season, I also expressed my respect and gratitude to Yeom Ki-hoon, who is with the team on active duty.
The 12 historical scenes of Suwon, which were reborn through collaboration with the artist Gwang, have been sequentially presented in short form since January. Ahead of the opening of the K-League, the final version, ‘My Love, My Suwon’ club song music video, was released.
