Dante DiVincenzo (26) revealed his thoughts on teammate Klay Thompson (33, Golden State Warriors).
DiVincenzo recently appeared on the podcast ‘DubS Talk’ (Dubs Talk) conducted by the media NBC Sports Bay Arena.
“He’s just a unique guy,” DiVincenzo said of Thompson. “He’s a brazen guy, but I like him and I need him.”
DiVincenzo also said, “Thompson doesn’t care if the shot he’s already thrown is good or bad. He just thinks about the next shot,” he said. And when he returns to the bench he jokes and laughs. He is an integral part of the team,” he added.
Just as Thompson missed two years due to injury, Divicenzo also took six months off basketball due to a serious tendon injury in the 2021 playoffs. Afterwards, Divin Gymnastics suffered the worst slump and was traded to the Sacramento Kings.
DiVincenzo is learning from Thompson how to approach the game. After looking back, saying, “Last year was a lot of trouble,” he said, “Thompson doesn’t think about the last play, but always thinks about the next play. That’s what I learned from him.”
Thompson can’t play as well on defense as before because of his athleticism that has slowed down since his injury. To this, toxicologists such as Charles Barkley say Thompson’s heyday is over. Still, Thompson has proven time and time again that things are getting back to normal.
DiVincenzo then revealed the meaning of watching Thompson’s explosive power.
DiVincenzo said, “I didn’t know I could score 54 points in one game against the Atlanta Hawks.” “The 42 points I recorded against the Oklahoma City Thunder filled the stadium with cheers. It was cool just to look at it,” he said.메이저놀이터
Meanwhile, Di Vincenzo is spending his first season as a member of Golden State after signing a two-year, $9.2M (approximately 11.9 billion won) contract in the free agent (FA) market last offseason.
DiVincenzo, who has assisted Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green better than anyone else this season, is filling the void left by Gary Payton II at Golden State.
